Open mic karaoke is a step up from singing in your own private karaoke booth, our Live Karaoke events put you centre stage. You aren’t just singing to your friends, you’ve got a whole audience to entertain – don’t worry they’re very supportive!

If you’re feeling shy, then get a friend and sing a duet or you can bring everyone up and get the audience to join in. There’s no better feeling than a whole room of people singing along to your favourite tunes with you. Whether you’re a seasoned karaoke pro, or you just fancy a fun night out with your mates, you won’t be disapointed.

How to Book Your Open Mic Slot

When you have your tickets, getting on the mic for your public karaoke performance is simple.

Just turn up at the start of the night, introduce yourself to one of our wonderful hosts and get your name down. We don’t take any requests in advance, it’s strictly first come, first served, don’t worry though we try and make sure that everyone gets their chance to shine!

If you would like to book an area or order a drinks package, just get in touch with our bookings team and we will do our best to accommodate you. This may be difficult on selected days in our Liverpool Street venue due to the size of the space. Drop them a line to find out at [email protected]

What to Expect on the Night

Both our open mic karaoke venues have state of the art karaoke machines with over 20,000 songs in various languages, and all genres – so don’t worry about finding your favourite tunes. The microphones are top notch and the sound system is crisp, it’s all engineered to make you sound great!

Our venues are open prior to the start of our open mic karaoke nights, so feel free to come down earlier, grab yourself a few drinks or a bite to eat, before the fun starts.

The nights start from either 7pm or 8pm (check the individual listings) for details and run through till Midnight at Liverpool Street. In Shoreditch open mic karaoke continues until 11pm when one of our resident DJ’s takes over proceedings and the venue is open till 4am if you’ve got the stamina!

FAQs About Karaoke Open Mic

Do I need to book in advance?

Walk-ins are available if we have the space, but we recommend you get your tickets in advance, especially if you are coming for a special occasion such as a birthday, hen-do or work social event. 

Can I bring my own backing track?

Please get in touch with us in advance if you would like to sing your own song and we can ensure the format is compatible with our karaoke system, email [email protected] 

What if I get stage fright?

Don’t worry, everyone is here to support you, grab some friends to help you sing if you’re not confident on your own. Alternatively, book one of our private karaoke booths if you’d prefer to sing in a more intimate setting.

Can I duet with a friend?

Of course, just sign up together and make sure you know who is singing what lines, maybe a quick practice run might be helpful!
